Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 2026
This privacy policy explains how I, Nadine Rowlands, collect, use and protect your personal information when you visit glowtoearn.com or get in touch through this site. I am an Independent Brand Partner for Oriflame; this is not an official Oriflame website.
1. Who I am
I am the data controller for any personal information collected through this site.
- Name: Nadine Rowlands
- Trading as: Glow to Earn / Independent Brand Partner for Oriflame
- Email: nadine@glowtoearn.com
- Phone: 07983 604215
If you have any questions about this policy or your personal data, please contact me using the details above.
2. What information I collect
Through the enquiry form on this site, I collect:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Confirmation that you are 16 or over
- Your consent to be contacted
I do not collect or process any other personal information directly on this site. There is no shopping cart, no account creation, and no payment processing on glowtoearn.com — any purchases happen on Oriflame's official website at shop.oriflame.com, which is governed by Oriflame's own privacy policy.
I also collect non-personal information automatically when you visit the site:
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 8)
- Analytics data (page views, time on page, device type — not personally identifying)
- Advertising data (whether you arrived via a Google Ad, and conversion tracking)
3. How I use your information
I use the personal information you provide to:
- Respond to your enquiry about the Oriflame business opportunity or products
- Provide guidance on joining as an Independent Brand Partner or VIP Customer
- Pass your application to Oriflame for processing, if you choose to join as a Brand Partner through me
- Contact you about your enquiry by phone or email
I will not use your details for unrelated marketing, sell them to third parties, or add you to a general mailing list without your separate consent.
4. Lawful basis for processing
Under UK GDPR, I rely on the following lawful bases:
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) — for any direct marketing communications and for placing analytics or advertising cookies on your device.
- Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) — for responding to enquiries you initiate through the site. It is in both your interest and mine that I can reply.
- Performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) — if you proceed to join as a Brand Partner through me.
You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting me using the details in Section 1.
5. Who I share your information with
I share personal information only with the following:
- Oriflame — if you choose to apply to become a Brand Partner, your details are passed to Oriflame to process your application. Oriflame becomes a separate data controller at that point and their privacy policy applies (oriflame.com).
- Email provider (Google Workspace) — my email is hosted by Google, so any messages between us are processed by Google as a data processor under their security standards.
- Google (advertising and analytics) — anonymised data about site visits and ad performance is shared with Google for the purpose of measuring ad effectiveness and improving the site, but only with your cookie consent.
I do not sell your data, and I do not share it with anyone outside the parties listed above.
6. International data transfers
Some of the services I use (Google) may transfer data outside the UK and EU. These transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards including the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
7. How long I keep your information
- Enquiry data that does not result in a Brand Partner application: kept for 12 months from the date of your last contact, then deleted.
- Brand Partner applications passed to Oriflame: I retain a copy for 24 months for my own records; Oriflame retains the application separately under their own policy.
- Analytics and advertising data: retained per Google's defaults (currently 14 months for Google Analytics, configurable).
You can ask me to delete your information sooner — see Section 9.
8. Cookies and tracking
This site uses cookies and similar technologies for three purposes:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the site to function (WordPress session, page cache). These do not require consent.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) — measure how visitors use the site. Set only with your consent.
- Advertising cookies (Google Ads) — measure the effectiveness of Google Ads campaigns and enable conversion tracking. Set only with your consent.
You will be asked for consent the first time you visit the site, and can change your preferences at any time via the cookie banner or by clearing the site's cookies in your browser.
9. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the following rights:
- Right of access — request a copy of the personal data I hold about you.
- Right to rectification — ask me to correct inaccurate information.
- Right to erasure — ask me to delete your data.
- Right to restrict processing — ask me to pause processing of your data.
- Right to data portability — ask for your data in a machine-readable format.
- Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interest, including for direct marketing.
- Right not to be subject to automated decision-making — I do not make automated decisions about you.
- Right to withdraw consent — at any time, where consent was the lawful basis.
To exercise any of these rights, contact me using the details in Section 1. I will respond within one month.
10. Children's data
You must be 16 or over to apply to become a Brand Partner through this site, and the application form will not accept submissions without confirmation of age. I do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe I have, please contact me and I will delete it.
11. Third-party links
This site contains links to Oriflame's official website and other external sites. I am not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites — please review their own privacy policies.
12. Security
I take reasonable measures to protect your personal data: the site uses HTTPS encryption, my email is protected by Google Workspace's security controls, and form data is sent directly to my inbox rather than stored on the site itself.
No system is perfectly secure. If you have concerns about the security of your data, please contact me.
13. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The "effective date" at the top of the page shows when it was last updated. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
14. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how I have handled your personal data, please contact me first so I can try to resolve it.
You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO):
- Website: ico.org.uk
- Phone: 0303 123 1113
- Address: Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF
